Kingston,
Kingston & St. Andrew Sandwiched between the Spectacular
Blue Mountains and the seventh largest harbor in the world
you will find Kingston, Jamaica's capital city. Well over
500,000 people make Kingston their home.
Though it is not as popular to tourists as the resort areas
on the north coast, there is a tremendous amount of beauty
and history in Kingston.
When in Kingston you will want to visit Port Royal. Known
as the wickedest city on earth, it was for the most part destroyed
in by a major earthquake in 1694.
Other sights not to be missed include Devon House (photo),
Caymanas Park, The Marley Museum and the National Gallery
of Art.
At night is when Kingston really comes to life. There are
a variety of first rate night clubs and other activities -
especially in the New Kingston area that rival any in the
world.
